Room Description

Accommodation here is a mixture of 58 rustic villas, all with private pools and located on the beach, tucked away up in the hills or over dramatic rock pool formations. The entire resort was designed and built with the Six Senses ethos of sustainability and environmental responsibility, and blends beautifully into the natural setting. And of course, being Six Senses, no detail or luxury is spared. There are elevated open-plan bedrooms, bathrooms that give out on to private gardens, outdoor showers, handcrafted wooden bathtubs, traditional teakwood furniture, and crisp white linens, not to mention WiFi, satellite TV, hair dryers and in-villa wine cellars. For larger parties, there are two-bedroom Beach Front Pool Villas and Hill Top Pool Villas, and the pièce de résistance, the two-bedroom Rock Retreat, made up of a cluster of separate pavilions for dining, living, sleeping and a spa area. Activities

If you can tear yourself away from the spa, Ninh Van Bay also offers tennis, volleyball and badminton, and beautiful hiking trails where you can lose yourself among the lush tropical foliage, without actually getting lost. If watersports are more your thing, the Experience Centre offers everything from paddle boarding, Scuba diving and wake boarding to snorkeling, fishing trips and boat charters. There are plenty of excursions for those who want to venture further afield, and a supervised children’s club with all kinds of activities to keep the smaller guests happy.

Dining

At the Main Restaurant you can enjoy an Asian-Western breakfast and international fusion menu for dinner, with a gentle ocean breeze and stunning views across the bay. The Signature Restaurant offers local meat and seafood in a natural setting overlooking Ninh Van Bay, while the split-level dining experience of the pool restaurant offers traditional Vietnamese and Western lunches, and seasonal themed buffet dinners, with views of the pool or a 360-degree panorama on the top floor. For drinks, the evening bar is open as long as you’re still propping it up – perfect for sundowners or post-dinner digestifs. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, the Wine Cave is an authentic hillside rock cavern that makes a perfect setting for an intimate dinner.
