Located on the Seychelles island of Praslin, Lemuria is a 5-star deluxe resort set in lush vegetation that has been untouched over the centuries. The story is that when the continents were split, a small piece of paradise survived, and that was Lemuria. Even now, turtles still come to lay their eggs in complete tranquillity on the white sandy beaches of Anse Kerlan. Room Description

The Lemuria Resort offers 105 air-conditioned guest rooms located on two floors. Junior suites are sea-facing bungalows constructed in wood, marble and pink granite, and set amongst tropical gardens, and all feature minimalist tropical-style decor, mini bars, satellite television and a terrace with sun loungers in the shade of overhanging palm trees. Senior suites are also available, and boast separate lounge, extra bathroom and double-size terrace. Luxurious villas also have their own private swimming pool. There is also a Presidential Villa.

Activities

Guests at the Lemuria are treated to a range of facilities. For the active, there are two floodlit tennis courts, windsurfing, catamaran and dinghy sailing, snorkelling, pedalos and kayaks. An 18-hole championship golf course is of international standard, while deep-sea fishing, PADI-recognised scuba diving and mountain bikes are also available. Constance Kids Club provides supervision for children, keeping them entertained in a games room and dining area, and with outdoor activities

Dining

Lemuria Resort offers a wide selection of French and international cuisine, blending Seychellois flavours with traditional recipes. With three restaurants located in three stunning locations, the resort offers varied and quality cuisines, from a la carte menus to special themed evenings and 5-star buffets. There are also four bars serving a variety of drinks and cocktails in cool and sophisticated settings.
