The spa at Treetops Lodge focuses on natural Maori healing and cleansing, offering therapeutic massages using locally sourced ingredients that are designed to eliminate toxins and realign body and soul.

Room Description

There are various options for a stay at Treetops Lodge: the lodge itself has an accommodation wing of family suites plus a large dining and living area for all to use, or you can hire one of the villas that are dotted around the forest. These have small kitchenettes, living rooms with fireplace and separate bedrooms. There are also two exclusive luxury cottages on the estate for complete privacy and seclusion.

Activities

There’s a wide range of incredible experiences to choose from at Treetops Lodge – all tailored to those with a love of nature and a sense of adventure. You can forage for wild ingredients, discover Maori healing rituals, hike the 42 miles of estate trails, go on a four-wheel drive safari or take a helicopter tour. As the lodge is a working estate, there’s an emphasis on foodie experiences, from wild food cooking school to a gamekeeper-led safari.

Dining

The dining room at Treetops Lodge has an open kitchen so you can watch the chef prepare a menu of fresh, seasonal produce – much of it from the estate. You can also choose to eat by the fire in the intimate library, and breakfast – of local cheeses and homemade pastries – can be taken on your villa’s own patio overlooking the trees.
