Literally meaning ‘calm waters’, the award-winning Likuliku Island Resort is located on a lush, green, private island surrounded by turquoise lagoons and is the only resort in Fiji with over-water bures. The central building is constructed in the style of a traditional canoe house, while beachfront and over-water bures are built with natural woods and hand-woven thatch. Choose from just 45 Beachfront or Over-Water Bures at this paradise resort. Beachfront Bures look out directly onto the ocean and feature air-conditioning, free wi-fi, a private courtyard, daybed and outdoor shower, spacious deck and beautiful interiors. Alternatively, Deluxe Beachfront Bures also offer a personal plunge-pool that looks out over the lagoon. For complete luxury, Over-Water Bures enjoy plenty of space with a private sundeck, lagoon views from the bathtub and a separate bathing pavilion. There’s also a king-size bed and daily chef’s canapé plate.

Activities

Guests can choose from a myriad of activities including snorkelling, windsurfing, game-fishing and diving. There are also bush walks available and excursions to the village of Yaro and Potters Cave, Vatu Tagi (‘weeping rock’), Vatu Tabu (‘sacred wishing rock’) and the ancient habitation of Yadra Vula. Alternatively relax by the horizon-edge pool, in one of the in-pool Jacuzzis or work out in the gym. Trips to Mociu private island are available - it's a tiny uninhabited island just 15 minutes by boat. Visit for sunrise, take a picnic or enjoy some peaceful snorkelling.

Dine at the Fijiana Restaurant for fresh cuisine with an emphasis on seafood and tropical fruits, plus views over the lagoon, gardens and pool. Masima Bar is situated on an island in the central lagoon and is perfect for daytime or evening drinks and snacks while Dua Tale Bar is a cool indoor cocktail and wine lounge.
